For example, setting a goal to lose 10 pounds in three months is specific, measurable, and time-bound.

Want to lose weight? Decrease your calorie consumption by about 500 calories per day.
You can be more or less specific depending on how much you feel like tracking your food consumption. MyFitnessPal is a simple and healthy tool for this.
Next, let’s lay out some simple revenge diet guidelines.
For your revenge diet, avoid consuming foods and drinks with added sugar.
Sugar-sweetened beverages, specifically, are the worst possible thing for your health.
For carbohydrates, focus on consuming fruits (both fresh and dried, such as organic dates), vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and other legumes.
This should make up approximately 50-60% of your daily calories.
For protein, try to consume vegan protein sources more than animal protein.
Animal protein certainly can play a role in a healthy diet for weight loss or muscle gain, but vegan protein sources generally contain a wider variety of nutrients that will contribute to your skin and hair health.
Fatty fish should be a priority, as it contains high amounts of healthy unsaturated fat (Omega-3 fatty acids).
Many of the carbohydrate sources listed above contain plenty of protein as well!
