A new study in to the benefits of milk chocolate, based on a meta-analysis of eight previously published studies which involved about 158,000 people; determined that people who regularly ate chocolate had up to an 11 percent lower risk of developing cardiovascular disease, and a 23 percent lower risk of having a stroke when compared with non-chocolate eaters.
