Athletic Performance

Athletic performance is built through the ability to produce and absorb force, move efficiently, repeat high-intensity efforts, and recover well enough to perform consistently. Effective athletic performance training develops strength, power, speed, agility, conditioning, mobility, and movement control while supporting the body with proper nutrition and recovery.

Throughout my professional basketball career, I have learned that improving performance is rarely about one exercise, workout, or training method. The best results come from combining these physical qualities into a complete system that helps you become more explosive, resilient, and prepared for the demands of your sport.

In this section, I share evidence-based training strategies alongside methods I have personally used in professional basketball, including strength and power training, plyometrics, sprint and agility work, conditioning, mobility, recovery, and sports nutrition.

Whether your goal is to jump higher, run faster, improve your conditioning, develop explosive power, or simply become a more complete athlete, these guides are designed to help you train with greater purpose and translate your work in the gym into better athletic performance.
