Exercise for good health should be your moto if you want to lose weight and be in a proper shape. There are many ways to do cardiovascular exercises at your home and you have to choose the method that suits you best.

Walking

We have seen our predecessors walking a lot every day. They used to do it for completing their daily works and it helped them to be in good health. In the present days we don’t need to or want to walk much as everything has come closer to us.

We have lost our habits to walk for different modern transportation systems.

Walking is a very good cardio exercise that keeps your heart healthy. We should make a schedule and walk for a certain amount of time regularly so that it helps our body stay healthy.

Running Stairs

In the city areas we hardly get any place for jogging; the area is filled with skyscrapers and different large buildings and malls. In this case your stairs in your house can help you a lot.

In the beginning do it slowly and with time you can increase your speed. It creates a pressure on your heart and makes the blood circulation more freely.

Jumping Rope

Some take jumping rope as a game which is a very good exercise. To do this workout, you don’t need much space; you can easily do it in your bedroom if there is enough space.

This exercise helps your heart take fast and long breath and while releasing it exerts all the carbon-di-oxide from your body. Blood circulation becomes more fluent and comfortable. You can do this in exchange of climbing stairs which might be annoying for you.

You can actually call your friends or family members and play it as a game.

Rowing Machine

It has become very easy to find the best rowing machine for home because of the internet and the e-commerce sites. The rowing machine is very good for your cardio exercise. In this machine you need to sit on its seat and pull a string which is very tight.

Using the ERG rowing machine several times per week helps your heart work properly. This is a small device which can be fit at any place of your home and you can actually carry it to your required places.

The rowing machine is not as intense as a prowler sled or a Jacob’s ladder, but it is very effective in its own way!

Swimming

This is considered to be the best exercise of all. In this exercise all your body parts get to work properly. You can lose a lot of calories and your heart will remain in a very good condition.

All your body pain will reduce if you do it on a regular basis.

You can make a small swimming pool so that you don’t need to go anywhere else.

Cycling

This is another good workout for your heart. It is not necessary to go out for a bicycle ride nowadays, you can buy a stationary bicycle and place it inside your home.

Every morning, wake up and start riding your cycle before going to your work. After doing this exercise take a nice bath which will make you fresh and energetic for the whole day.

For a good health, exercise doesn’t have any exception. You have to do it regularly so that you get the benefit soon.

Here are a couple exercises from my workout today. I hope you can notice the one small difference I made on these Bulgarian Split squats. Instead of using a flat bench to place my rear foot, I used a bench with a slight incline. Doing so makes the ankle flexibility a bit easier and changes the stress of the movement a little different. If your ankles are tight and Bulgarian Split Squats are uncomfortable for you, give it a try!

The 2nd exercise is a core movement that I added some weight too. The “pull-over” movement (14kg Kettlebell) adds some more muscles into the movement making it a bit more challenging.
