How Fried Foods Can Effect Your Stools and Overall Health

How Fried Foods Can Effect Your Stools and Overall Health

Outside of the fact that they taste good, fried foods are probably the worst food on the planet.

They offer little nutritional value at all, and can be the main cause of numerous different issues within your body.  Fried foods are one of the main causes of issues with your stools, and should be avoided at all costs.

If you have issues with sticky stools often, but do not eat fried foods, check out this great guide to other foods that cause sticky stool!  There is a lot of good information on this site, and it is worth the time to look at so that you can find what is causing your issues!

Fried Foods and Sticky Stools

Amongst other main reasons, the amount of fat and grease that fried foods carry is enough of a reason to avoid them.

Fried foods are normally incredible high in calories, and very difficult for your stomach to digest.  Especially if you have persistent stomach or digestion issues, fried foods should not be consumed at all.

The fat in these fried foods, however, should not be confused with healthy dietary fats.

Healthy fats can improve your stomach and your body’s ability to digest foods, and should be consumed often.  Nuts, beans, avocados, and eggs all contain fat which can be beneficial to your body.

The fat found in fried foods, however, is completely opposite.

Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplementation and Sticky Stools

If you have previously eaten a diet high in fried foods, supplementing your newly reformed diet with additional Omega-3 fatty acids can be highly beneficial for you.  Fish oil or other forms of Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary to reverse the damage done by the fat in fried foods (Omega-6 fatty acids).

Unlike the diets of Mediterranean people or other cultures in the world, the typical American diet is unnecessary high in Omega-6 fatty acids.

Stopping to eat these foods is obviously the first step, but also supplementing with Omega-3 fatty acids is a good idea to improve your overall health.

Concluding Thoughts – The Relationship of Fried Foods and Poor Stool Quality

Your ability to digest and process food has an enormous impact on the type of stools that you produce.  If you eat a diet high in fried foods and are having persistent sticky stools, it is necessary that you stop to do this as soon as possible.

Removing fried foods from your diet is one of the simplest ways to improve the consistent of your stools, and make for more comfortable and healthy living!

  • Big win on the road yesterday! 6-3 on the season now.

Here are a couple exercises from my workout today. I hope you can notice the one small difference I made on these Bulgarian Split squats. Instead of using a flat bench to place my rear foot, I used a bench with a slight incline. Doing so makes the ankle flexibility a bit easier and changes the stress of the movement a little different. If your ankles are tight and Bulgarian Split Squats are uncomfortable for you, give it a try!

The 2nd exercise is a core movement that I added some weight too. The “pull-over” movement (14kg Kettlebell) adds some more muscles into the movement making it a bit more challenging.
