5 Outdoor Workouts to Get in Shape

In today’s modernized era, be it men or women, all want to have their body in shape and properly toned. But how to fulfill these wishes in such a busy schedule remains a question of thought and people try and apply various solutions to answer this question.

Usually for this purpose, people prefer going to gym to get a tone body but going to gym early in the morning becomes a very difficult task sometimes.

A hectic schedule too can make it impossible to take out time for gym.

No need to cope up with this difficulty now. To your surprise, your wishes may also come true even without going to gym.

  1. Jumping Rope or Skipping

To avoid monotonous jumping and for enjoying it, rope jumping can be done in various ways like singles, doubles and many others. Doing this for around 15 – 20 minutes a day would be helpful.

  1. Pursuing with Aerobics

Aerobics is nothing but doing various kinds of physical exercises involving great amount of strength along with loud music, for the fitness of your body.

This helps you to move every part of your body and hence it simultaneously serves the combined purposes, of losing weight and shaping plus toning of the body.

It is not necessary to join aerobics class for the same; it can be very well done at home also. Doing it for half an hour daily will make you feel the change.

  1. Go for Trail Running

You can also opt going for trail running, which means running over a path which is not too easy and smooth and often involves certain heights.

While you are doing this type of running, rather than usual running, your body demands more pressure to be applied.

This makes it very much effective and acts as your fat burner and also helps in toning your body. Running for around half an hour would be enough for the day. You can also go to a camping and hiking trip on the weekends.

  • Temple of Apollo Epikourios at Bassae, Greece. 
Wow! This place was enormous.. Today was the last of a 3-day break we have, and we picked a perfect place to visit! It was nice to learn some history of the Greek god Apollo as well.
Seeing as it’s Earth Day, I had to share one photo we took while driving to the temple. The picture doesn’t do it justice, but I had to try!

  • Today we visited the Temple of Apollo Epikourios. It took us ~2 hours to drive up through the mountains to get to the temple, but the ride was beautiful! Unfortunately, we hit some traffic on the way back down the mountain! hahaha

In Greek Antiquity this was one of the largest cities in Greece. Although the Ancient city is just ruins now, you can still feel the aura every step! One of the biggest contributions of this ancient city was that the Olympic Games were “planned” here, and athletes from across the world gathered here before the original Olympic Games were officially hosted in Olympia. •

  • Katakolon, Greece. 
The town itself you can pretty much see in its entirety on my 2nd photo. @Anna_Targoniy and I spent about an hour just sitting by the sea, and watching the water and the people fishing off the docks. There are some great wine/olive tours here that we didn’t do, but it was still an amazing place to see!

Later I will post some other photos from this amazing little town, but I was so excited I had to post this first 😂 @olybeea.gr is by far the best honey I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve ate local New York honey forever, but this was just a whole different level! Also they have an incredible “mantra” about the connection between bees, honey, and life in general that I think is great. •
Katakolon is a high-traffic port for excursions in the Mediterranean so if anyone happens to come through here, I highly recommend you check out their shop! Personally, I’m excited to go back and try their Royal Jelly and other honey products!!
